While doing press for a tour that brings him to the Paramount Wednesday night 8/16, Ted Nugent told an upstate New York radio station that it’s the PC police who are keeping him out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There’s trouble brewing in Journey-land! The brouhaha began when keyboardist Jonathan Cain, bassist Ross Valory, and frontman Arnel Pineda visited the White House last week. When Journey co-founder and guitarist Neal Schon found out about the visit we was furious!
Schon believes that the White House is exploiting the Journey ‘brand’ for it’s own purposes and that Cain, Valory and Pinenda are not Journey. Schon thinks only all five members of the group can be represented as Journey (drummer Steve Smith being the fifth guy).

Actress Leah Remini made such a big impression on Kevin James and the head honchos at his sitcom “Kevin Can Wait,” when she appeared in 2 episodes last may, that CBS has announced their decision to kill off James’ TV wife Donna, (costar Erinn Hayes) to pave the way for the return of his “King of Queens” TV wife Remini.
CBS VP Thom Sherman said, “Obviously, the chemistry between Kevin and Leah was amazing in the stunt episode(s) we did at the end of last season, and we decided we want to continue that,”

Dream Theater will celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of their most loved albums, ‘Images and Words’ at the Beacon Theatre on November 16th

Guns N Roses returned to St Louis last night for their first show in that city since the infamous riot the band sparked in 1991. Axl Rose made no mention of the incident that left dozens of fans injured and cost Rose a $50,000 fine. But the band made a point to pay homage to St Louis rock n’ roll legend the late Chuck Berry with Slash’s scorching instrumental version of the Chuck’s Johnny B. Good! The Jones Beach crowd went ape$hit Thursday night when for the first time in 14 years original lead singer Lou Gramm, (as well as former Foreigns Al Greenwood and Ian McDonald) joined Mick Jones and the rest of Foreigner for a surprise 40th anniversary reunion!
Head Foreigner honcho Mick Jones was close to tears as he introduced Gramm, his long time collaborator and friend. Together they performed: “Long, Long Way From Home,” “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Hot Blooded.”
