Def Leppard Finally Gets Nominated to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced the nominations for 2019 and FINALLY Def Leppard gets a nod! Along with Def Leppard are other first time nominees Stevie Nicks, Devo, John Prine, Roxy Music and Todd Rundgren. Previous nominees on the ballot again this year are Janet Jackson, Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, the MC5, the Cure, Rufus & Chaka Kahn and the Zombies.

Stevie Nicks was inducted in 1998 as a member of Fleetwood Mac.

Fans again this year can vote once a day for their favorites starting now thru midnight 12/9. The top 5 vote getters will be added to a ‘fans’ ballot’ that is tallied along with the other ballots. Fans can also vote in-person at the Rock Hall in Cleveland.

The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on March 29, 2019.Tickets will go on sale in January.
