Whether you give your time today (or in the future), your dollars or your blood, here are some local organizations that we here at Cox Media Group have worked with and wholeheartedly endorse.

Although Hope for the Warriors is not strictly a Long Island based charity, we’ve worked with them on a number of fundraisers. They are a veterans service organization that provides care to restore self, family, and hope to post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen. You can learn more about them and donate at hopeforthewarriors.org

The West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition  provides support services to women – undergoing treatment and requiring post-mastectomy care. Their “Lend A Helping Hand” program actively promotes cancer and environmental awareness with education, advocacy, and outreach throughout the community. Learn more at West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition

Long-Island Home-Builders Care gives back to the community by donating their time and expertise in the field of construction and housing. LIHBC has grown significantly adding a scholarship fund, food and toy drives for those in need and assisting families in need in various ways.
