Shortly after Def Leppard kicked off their co-headlining tour with Journey, guitarist Phil Collen left the band to tend to what was described as a ‘family emergency’.
Steve Brown from Trixter was brought in to cover for Phil (Brown also covered for Def Lep’s Viv Campbell when he was being treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2014). It was a short stint for Brown because with little fanfare Collen rejoined the band last week at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati. We still don’t know what Phil’s ‘family emergency’ consisted of but we wish him and his family all the best.
Def Leppard and Journey will perform in our area on June 13th at Madison Square Garden and June 15th at the Prudential Center. Get details HERE
