Fox Releases Photos and Trailer From Queen Biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’

Twentieth Century Fox has released two still photos from the upcoming Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. Fox showed a trailer to the press at Las Vegas’ CinemaCon. Unfortunately the trailer isn’t online yet, but you can see the stills in the video above.

The first one is the video’s thumbnail. That’s Rami Malek on the left as Freddie Mercury and Gwilym Lee as Brian May. The second photo in the video is second release from Fox and is from the scene of Queen at Live Aid.

WATCH: Bruce Springsteen and REM Jamming with Patti Smith at Tribeca Last Night!

Monday night’s Tribeca Film Festival featured the premiere of a new concert documentary about Patti Smith called, “Horses: Patti Smith and Her Band.” The movie was followed by a performance from Patti at the Beacon Theatre. After Smith introduced her band she said she had one more person to introduce, and out came Bruce Springsteen, much to the delight of the audience.

WATCH: Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers Return and Neil Young Reunites with Stephen Stills!

Stephen Stills’ 5th annual ‘Light Up The Blues’ benefit concert for Autism Speaks was held over the weekend and featured the first on stage appearance of Heartbreakers Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench and Steve Ferrone since Tom Petty’s death last year. Although the words Heartbreakers or Tom Petty were never mentioned, Stephen Stills joined the group for Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down’. Watch the video above.

WATCH: Prince’s Original Recording of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ Has Just Been Released and it’s Stunning

Everyone knows Sinéad O’Connor’s version of Prince’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’, she had a hit with the song in 1990. But now after all these years we finally have Prince’s version. The track and accompanying video (above) was released by his estate yesterday and it’s gorgeous.

Prince recorded the song in 1984 with his longtime engineer Susan Rogers, at the Flying Cloud Drive Warehouse in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, a huge rehearsal space he used before building Paisley Park.
