Rayshun LaMarr sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” during his blind audition on ‘The Voice’ the other night and he crushed it! He’s got a poignant story to go with his heartfelt version too. He says he was battling cancer 5 years ago and the tune “gave me so much hope and energy…” I wonder what Steve Perry thinks.

What a great double bill! John Fogerty, the man who gave us all those great Creedence Clearwater Revival songs and the down home boogie blues of ZZ Top together is gonna be heaven on earth or as Fogerty puts it a “Riffs, blues and bayous… bucket list!”

The “Blues and Bayous Tour” comes to the Northwell Heath at Jones Beach Theater June 20th

Tickets for the Jones Beach show go on sale to the general public March 9th at 10am.

Before his death last year, Chris Cornell turned a pair of Johnny Cash poems into a melancholy ballad called, ‘You Never Knew My Mind’ for a Cash tribute album called ‘Forever Words.’

The album is comprised of Cash’s unrecorded poetry, lyrics and letters put to music by a star studded group of artists that include Rosanne Cash, Alison Krauss, Kris Kristofferson & Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, John Mellencamp, Carlene Carter, Elvis Costello, The Jayhawks and more and comes out on  April 6th.

WATCH: Celebrate George Harrison’s 75th Birthday with Eric Clapton

Had he not died of cancer at age 58, yesterday would have been George Harrison’s 75th birthday. His widow, Olivia Harrison, and his son, Dhani Harrison, tweeted an invitation for fans to celebrate George’s birthday by watching the video of Billy Preston and Eric Clapton performing George’s song “Isn’t It a Pity” at the memorial Concert for George in 2002. A remastered version of the Concert for George has just been released in honor of the Beatle’s birthday.

Metallica’s James Hetfield Signs On to First Time Acting Role in Ted Bundy Movie

James Hetfield may be on the road with Metallica, but that didn’t stop him from making a deal to appear in the forthcoming movie ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.’ The film is based on the story of serial killer Ted Bundy and get this, it stars one-time Disney Channel star Zac Effron as Bundy!

Hetfield has been in movies and TV shows before, but this is the first film where he will not be playing himself. He’ll play Utah Highway Patrolman Bob Hayward, who was the first officer to arrest Bundy in 1975, after pulling him over for a traffic violation.
