The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced the class of 2018. See the five artists/bands that made the cut in the Performer Category below. So who was nominated but didn’t make the cut? Judas Priest, Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, J. 4 people were injured when a man tried to blow up the Port Authority Bus Terminal this morning. A pipe bomb was strapped to the perpetrators body and went off injuring him and 3 commuters. Police have the suspect in custody and are investigating.

AC/DC’s Brian Johnson Posts Poignant Tribute to Malcolm Young

****************************************************************************************************************   Despite the fact that AC/DC singer Brian Johnson was unceremoniously replaced by Axl Rose when his hearing problems led him to abruptly leave the band’s Rock or Bust tour last year, Johnson looked back fondly on his days sharing a stage with Malcolm Young in a post on his website this weekend in the wake of Malcolm’s death.

Yesterday’s high winds caused a shed propping up scaffolding in SoHo to collapse burying 2 and injuring 5. In a heartwarming display of selflessness pedestrians nearby snapped into action to save those buried under the debris.

Vendor Jonathan Mejia joined the crowd to help and told the New York Post that when they uncovered a woman, “I saw that her head was cracked open and her leg was folded, almost out of place. She looked at us and said, ‘What happened?’”
