TMZ ambushed Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler at the airport the other day and asked him about the WWE’s Ric Flair’s claim that the wrestler had sex with 10,000 women. “Oh, I got him so beat” was Tyler’s obvious tongue in cheek response. When asked how many conquests he’d had in his wild years Steven said “I was too busy getting high” to count! This brazen theft was caught on the driver’s dash cam but that doesn’t mean he got his cash back! After contacting Uber the company replied:
“We understand your frustration with this experience. We’ve attempted to contact the rider by phone and email, but haven’t been able to resolve this issue…The rider responded to us and advised us that she didn’t steal your cash from the tip jar. If you believe the rider has your cash as captured from your dash cam and is refusing to return it, you may want to initiate a formal investigation via the police.”

Many of you know that I got my start in Long Island radio in 1982 at the station that “Dared to be Different”, the original WLIR 92.7. The station was much beloved for playing the often ignored genres of punk and new wave and became an icon for those looking for rock beyond the boundaries of what most commercial FM stations were playing.
As the station’s reputation and popularity grew well beyond the confines of Long Island so did its legal troubles until one day in December of 1987 the FCC awarded the license to operate the 92.7 frequency to another [More]
