Def Leppard and Journey Announce Two New York Area Co-Headlining Shows

DEF LEPPARD and JOURNEY – are teaming up for a massive co-headlining North American tour that will bring the bands to our area for 2 shows Wednesday June 13th at Madison Square Garden and Friday June 15th at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Throughout the tour half the shows being closed by Journey and  half by Def Leppard.

Tickets go on sale beginning Saturday, February 3, at  Stay tuned for presale and VIP ticketing information.

Dead & Company Return to Citi Field

DEAD & COMPANY’s 2018 tour brings the band back to Citi Field Friday June 15th and Saturday June 16th. Dead & Company (Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti) will perform two sets.

To ensure fans get tickets in their hands directly, Fan Registration is available HERE for the 2018 tour dates beginning today, January 18, at 8 AM ET, through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program; supplies are limited. Pre-sale registration closes on Friday, January 19 at 6PM ET.

Billy Joel thrilled the crowd at last week’s Garden show bringing out Foreigner’s Lou Gramm and Mick Jones to perform the band’s hits “Urgent” and “Cold as Ice.” Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones produced Billy’s 1989 album “Storm Front.” Although Gramm joined Jones for the first time in many years for a Foreigner reunion at Jones Beach last summer he will not perform regularly with the band on their upcoming summer tour, but he may drop in on a show or two. David Bowie died of liver cancer just two days after his 69th birthday in 2016. Now in honor of what would have been his 71st birthday today, HBO will air the Bowie documentary ‘David Bowie: The Last Five Years’ tonight at 8.

The movie’s title from filmmaker Francis Whately riffs on Whatley’s 2013 Bowie documentary ‘David Bowie: Five Years’ (the title “Five Years” is also the name of the opening song to Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust album), and delves into the the creation of Bowie’s final two albums “The Next Day” (2013) and “Blackstar” (2016) and Broadway musical “Lazarus”.

4 people were injured when a man tried to blow up the Port Authority Bus Terminal this morning. A pipe bomb was strapped to the perpetrators body and went off injuring him and 3 commuters. Police have the suspect in custody and are investigating.
